We will be offering a six-week study of Matthew's Gospel on Sunday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. beginning on October 16,2019. Please sign up on the sheets at the entrances. The study is a very low-key approach: it is an introduction to Matthew's Gospel, and no prior knowledge is needed to participate. It is more of a spiritual approach than an academic one.
Parents having a child Baptized for the first time at St. Mary’s are asked to attend the noon Mass on the last Sunday of each month and be seated in the Family Room. Immediately following the Mass, Deacon Tom will provide a presentation on this special sacrament and discuss the Rite of Baptism with the group. Please make sure you are seated in the Family Room and sign the registration book before Mass begins so that we can confirm the number attending. A special blessing will be offered for the parents and children at the end of Mass.

The Marriage Preparation Program is sponsored by the Diocese of Fall River and is supported by the Office of Faith Formation. Priests and married couples throughout the diocese form teams to assist engaged couples in preparing for Marriage. Married couples share their experiences with engaged couples through presentations, small group discussions, and written activities. This time gives the engaged couples the opportunity to focus on the truly important sacramental aspect of marriage, as well as such practical topics as communication, finances, and parenting.
